Every batch of soap will never look or feel the same as the last, this is the nature of handmade & hand cut soaps. All our soaps are unique!
Not at all! If it is very cold your soap may become thicker and whiten slightly to a lighter green. It can also thin out a little if it is hot. Your liquid soap is perfectly fine to keep using.
Well, Lye (sodium hydroxide for hard soap and potassium hydroxide for liquid soap) is the main magical ingredient that combines all the oils and butters into what we know as soap. Without it there would just be an oily goop. The chemical reaction is called saponification but the lye neutralises when combined with the fat and so becomes totally safe to use.
All our soaps need to set and cure. This process takes a minimum of 4-6 weeks before you can use it, so if we are out of stock it will be a month-ish before we can have it available for you to buy. We have pre-order available, this way you will get the soap you want!
